One killed in helicopter collision
One person has been killed after two RAF helicopters collided in mid-air, it has been reported.
According to reports, at least two other people have been injured in the crash, which took place near Market Drayton in Shropshire, just before 3pm on Wednesday.
The helicopters involved are believed to be Squirrel training helicopters from RAF Shawbury.
No further information is available.

MoD Chopper Spending Threatens Jobs
A new fleet of Chinook helicopters could be funded by job cuts at the Ministry of Defence, according to reports. Defence Secretary Bob Ainsworth said the government would purchase 22 new choppers to support the UK military mission in Afghanistan. The first of these helicopters could be sent to the war torn region by 2012.

Three RAF servicemen killed in Iraq
Three RAF servicemen have been killed during an attack on their base in Iraq, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed. Two men from 1 Squadron RAF Regiment and one man from 504 Squadron Royal Auxiliary were killed in an indirect fire attack on the Contingency Operating Base in Basra, Iraq.
