Body found in Bristol river
A body has been found floating in the River Avon in Bristol, police have confirmed.
Police were called to the Hotwell Road area of Bristol on Wednesday afternoon following reports that a body had been spotted in the water by ferry workers.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said that early indications suggested that the body may have been in the water for some time. However, they also said that there were no further details about the sex or identity of the body, or any information as to how it came to be in the water.
The coroner has been informed and efforts are now underway in an attempt to identify the deceased and ascertain the cause of death.

Third Body Found In Arson Attack Mansion
A third body has been found in the burnt-out mansion of a millionaire businessman. Christopher Foster, 50, his wife Jill, 49, and their 15-year-old daughter Kirstie had not been seen since the arson attack last Tuesday at Osbaston House, a large country estate in Shropshire. West Mercia Police are treating the case as a murder inquiry.

Four saved after catamaran capsizes
Four sailors, who spent 12 cold hours in the Solent after their catamaran capsized, have been rescued by Coastguard today. The alarm was raised at around 7.15am, and a short time later all four were retrieved from the water.
