Police uncover international 'paedophile ring'
Police have uncovered an alleged paedophile ring based in Britain, it has been revealed.
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre, based in London, said that there were more than 300 members of the alleged ring worldwide.
The key suspects are understood to be based in the UK and the Ceop centre said that a number of arrests had been made.
An undisclosed number of children are also understood to have been rescued from alleged sexual abuse.
British police were helped by their counterparts in Australia, Canada and the US in order to break the suspected paedophile ring.

Global paedophile ring smashed
Thirty-one children have been rescued from abuse after police smashed an international paedophile ring. Timothy Cox, 27, ran a web-site from Buxall in Suffolk which allowed paedophiles to swap photos and videos of children being abused. Offenders used a chatroom called 'Kids the Light of Our Lives' in order to swap the images.

Police 'Smash' National Prostitution Ring
Police have "smashed" a national prostitution ring, believed to have trafficked women into the UK and forced them to work in brothels. Police have confirmed that they have arrested 15 people on suspicion of conspiracy to manage and control brothels after raids on homes in the Midlands and south of England on Tuesday and Wednesday.
