Letter bomb suspect remanded in custody
A man has been remanded in custody, charged with the recent series of letter bomb attacks in the UK.
Miles Cooper, 27, a primary school caretaker from Cherry Hinton near Cambridge, was arrested on Monday afternoon.
He is charged with 12 offences under the Explosives Substances Act and the Offences Against the Person Act.
Seven of the charges relate to the seven letter bombs, while the other five charges relate to the people who were injured after opening them.
He appeared before Banbury Magistrates' Court in Oxfordshire on Friday and was remanded in custody. He is next due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on March 2.
Nine people have been injured by seven letter bombs, which have been sent to a number of business addresses in the UK since mid-January.
Among the addresses targeted were three forensic science laboratories, Capita in London, which runs the capital's congestion charge, and the DVLA in Swansea.

Man arrested over series of letter bombs
A 48-year-old man who claimed that he sent one of a series of letter bombs to UK businesses had been arrested. The man reportedly contacted BBC Radio 2's 'The Jeremy Vine Show' on Thursday, wanting to go on air and confess to sending the bomb to accountancy firm Vantis in Wokingham, Berkshire on Tuesday.

23 Charged With Drug Offences Following Raids
More than 20 people have been charged with drug offences following a number of raids carried out in London, Gravesend, Dover and Deal. A total of 23 people were arrested during twenty raids carried out over three days. The suspects, ranging in age from 17 to 52, have all been charged in connection with the supply of class A drugs.

Mobile provide EE is to refund around £1m to a number of customers wrongly charged VAT between October 2012 and October 2014. It is understood that EE customers who travelled outside the EU during those dates and used internet data were affected by the charges. The company estimated it as being about 0.5% of its customers.
