Three arrested over Merseyside van shooting
Police investigating the murder of a man shot dead in his van in Merseyside last year have arrested three men.
Stephen Lloyd, 25, was shot dead as he sat in his van in Redfern Street in Bootle just after 5pm on July 13 last year.
The van was later found burned out.
Merseyside Police confirmed that three men - aged 22, 23 and 32 and all from the Bootle area - have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
They are currently being interviewed by detectives.

Police Van Death Probe
An investigation has launched into the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a marked police van. Kenneth Thiel-Furber, 26, of Whitchurch died in the early hours of Saturday. He was hit by a Vauxhall Vivaro van on the A41 by the Wrexham Road roundabout. He was confirmed dead at the scene.

Police investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old male in south Birmingham have arrested three men. Staff at Birmingham's QE hospital called police at about 17:15, on Monday, to report that a man with a gunshot injury to his abdomen had been carried in by four friends.

Police Officers Injured In Fatal Van Explosion
Five police officers were injured and the driver of a suspicious van was killed when it exploded in Merseyside on Wednesday night. Merseyside Police said that the incident happened just before 10pm.
