'Sex predator' jailed
A "cunning and devious" paedophile who lured a nine-year-old girl into the woods before taking pictures and molesting her has been jailed indefinitely.
He was also placed on the sex offenders' register for life.
Kevin Toner, 20, of Thomas Street, North Ormesby, Middlesborough, was convicted last month of sexual assault and causing a child to engage in sexual activity in September last year.
Toner stalked his victim by following her on and off a bus before enticing her into woods.
He will serve a minimum of four years before he is eligible to apply for parole.
But the judge said: "I do not know when it will be safe to release you.
"If you are released I have no doubt at all that the most stringent conditions must be imposed to prevent you repeating what you have done before."
He was convicted in 2002 of committing two sexual assaults against boys aged nine and ten. (CD/JM)
