Teenager Arrested in Rhys Investigation
Police investigating the murder of Merseyside schoolboy Rhys Jones have arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of possessing a firearm.
The teenager was arrested after police raided a house in Norris Green in Liverpool.
He was later questioned by police investigating the murder of 11-year-old Rhys, who was shot in the neck by a teenager on a mountain bike outside the Fir Tree pub in Croxteth in August.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed that the teenager had been arrested on Saturday and was released on police bail following questioning.
It is believed that Rhys may have been the innocent victim of a gangland feud.
A number of people have been arrested in the case so far, but no one has yet been charged with his murder.

Police Receive New Leads In Rhys Murder Inquiry
Police investigating the murder of Merseyside schoolboy Rhys Jones have said that they received a good response from an appeal on BBC One's Crimewatch show on Wednesday night. More than 60 calls have been made to the programme following last night's appeal, including 12 calls, which named the same person as a suspect.
