London Shooting Victim Named
The man killed in a shooting on a south London street on Monday has been named as 35-year-old Gary Guthrie.
Mr Guthrie was shot in Streatham High Road around 5:20am yesterday. He was taken to hospital, but was later pronounced dead.
A second man was also injured in the same shooting. He was also taken to hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds, and remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Nine people are still being held by police in connection with the incident. According to reports, the people who took Mr Guthrie to hospital are among those being held by police.
Operation Trident, the Metropolitan Police's unit which investigates gun crime in the capital's black community, is investigating the shooting.
Police have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them on: 0208 733 4648.

A 28-year-old Huddersfield man suspected of injuring two detectives in a firearm attack has died in hospital. The man, who has not been named, had been questioned by police officers at the Fleece Inn pub on Elland Road in Ripponden, West Yorkshire, yesterday afternoon.

Waterloo Shooting Probed
A police officer has been injured in an incident involving a shooting near Waterloo station in London. The news emerged this afternoon as police flooded the location at The Cut in central London. Members of the specialist CO19 unit arrived at the scene to investigate shortly after 3pm.

Major Police Hunt Launched After Boy Taken From Hospital
A major police hunt has begun after a five-year-old boy with a brain tumour, was taken by his family without consent from Southampton General Hospital. Police said that Ashya King was taken from the hospital by Brett King, 51, and Naghemeh King, 45, on Thursday. It is thought he may have been taken to France.
