Two More Charged In Liverpool Torch Murder
Two more men have been charged with the murder of a Polish waitress in Liverpool who died after being set alight.
Monika Szmecht was set on fire and dumped in a lay-by in Blindfoot Lane, Rainford, on June 11.
She managed to crawl about 150 yards to a nearby house and raise the alarm - but had suffered 90% burns and died in hospital.
The 20-year-old victim had been living in Norris Green, Liverpool for just 13 months.
Philip Savin, 29, of Chester Avenue, Bootle, Merseyside and David Clarke, 45, of Walton Village, Liverpool, Merseyside appeared before St Helens Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning, Merseyside Police said.
Last month, Anthony Clarke, of Halsey Crescent, West Derby, Liverpool pleaded not guilty to her murder and his case was adjourned to December.

Man arrested over murder of Liverpool teenager
Merseyside Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a teenager in Liverpool on Saturday. The 20-year-old man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy of the murder of Liam Kelly. Sixteen-year-old Liam Kelly, form Upper Warwick Street, Liverpool, was shot twice in the chest and in the arm in the early hours of Saturday.

More Talks Due In Postal Dispute
The leaders of the Communication Workers' Union are due to meet with Royal Mail management for further talks on Thursday to decide whether to recommend an offer on pay and conditions to their members. The union reportedly wants to clarify outstanding issues of the deal.

Six Men Jailed After Whiskey And Chocolate Theft
Six men have been sentenced after lorries carrying whiskey and chocolate were stolen in Kent during April 2013. The thefts occurred in the Dover area. Police said high value whiskey with a retail price of £23,000 was stolen from the trailer of a lorry parked in a haulage yard in Lyndden.
