Murder Inquiry Launched Into Teen's Stabbing
A murder investigation has been launched in Hull, after a teenage boy died after being stabbed.
Emergency services were called after reports of a stabbing on Bilton Grove in Hull around 10:50pm on Monday night.
A 17-year-old, who has been named locally as Joe Dinsdale, was found suffering a stabbing injury to his stomach.
He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, but died later.
Earlier, Humberside Police confirmed that a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy had been arrested in connection with the investigation and were being questioned by police. The 16-year-old has now been released without charge.
Scenes of crime officers attended the scene, but a security cordon, put in place after the incident, has now been removed.
Police confirmed that the victim's parents had been informed and were being supported by specially trained officers.

John Heald, 53, was waiting for the jury to reach a verdict at Hull Crown Court, for the murder of Bei Carter and the rape of another woman. He was accused of deliberately stabbing Mrs Carter, 49, at the Moryland Hotel on 18 July last year.

Police Shoot Man Following Stabbing Incident In Hersden
A man has been shot by police after being called to attend an incident in Hersden where a woman was stabbed. Police initially attended the scene at around 11.20pm on Sunday followed by firearms officers and police negotiators. The man and woman, who are members of the same family, are both in a critical condition in hospital.

A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend. Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.

Police shoot dead man outside Hull
Police have confirmed that they shot dead a man just outside Hull early this morning. The incident took place on the A63 near Welton in East Yorkshire. Humberside Police were called to the scene around 06:20 GMT, after receiving reports that a van was being driven the wrong way down the eastbound carriageway.
