'Worst Storm Of Winter' Forecast For Britain
Britain is bracing itself for what could be the strongest storm of the winter next week.
Severe gales and heavy rain have been forecast across the UK on Sunday night and Monday morning, with gusts of up to 80mph predicted in some areas of the country.
The cause of the severe weather conditions is a band of exceptionally low pressure.

Parts of Britain are expected to be hit by severe thunderstorms tonight, forecasters have predicted. The east and southeast of the country are expected to be hit by heavy rains, which will then move north eastwards across the country later today and early on Wednesday, the Met Office warned.

Man dies as severe weather hits Britain
A man has been killed as Britain continues to be battered by severe weather. It is believed that the man died when a tree fell on his car as he drove through the village of Britty Common, near Wellington in Somerset on Thursday morning. Heavy rain and winds have continued to affect many parts of the UK and are expected to last throughout the day.
