Man Arrested Following M40 Crash
A man has been arrested following a serious multiple vehicle crash on the M40 in Oxfordshire.
The crash, which happened shortly before 10:30am on Friday morning, involved two cars and three lorries.
One person was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to a hospital in Coventry by air ambulance.
It is understood that a man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The crash resulted in the closure of the M40 southbound between junction 15 and 11. Two northbound lanes were also closed.

Man Bailed Over M40 Coach Crash
A man arrested in connection with a coach crash on the M40 in Buckinghamshire has been released on bail. The collision happened around 2am on Monday morning, when an Oxford Tube coach overturned between junctions 3 and 2 southbound. Twelve passengers and the coach driver were onboard.

M40 Crash 'A Series Of Accidents'
One man has died and four others are in still in hospital following a major road accident on the M40 on Saturday morning. Police said the crash, which happened between junction 9 and 10 at about 07:45, was a "series of accidents in the same place at the same time".

Thames Valley Police have confirmed the deaths of two people in a crash on the M40 in Buckinghamshire. Police have said that two cars collided on the westbound carriageway between junction 2 for Beaconsfield and junction 3 for Loudwater just after 05:00 on Friday morning.
