Missing Schoolgirl Found 'Safe And Well'

A Plymouth schoolgirl who went missing has been found safe and well.

Police say that Tamara Clarke, 13 - also known as Tammy - was found in the West Hoe area at 12.30 today.

Tammy was last seen leaving the Barbican Leisure Park in Plymouth on Sunday evening.

The Chief Constable of Devon and Cornwall police, Stephen Otter, had appealed for the girl to get in touch with her family.

Police had released a CCTV image of her at Warner Village cinema, which allegedly showed her talking to two young men. It is believed that all three walked off to the city centre.

It is also known that she used the social networking site Bebo.

The teenager has been taken to Charles Cross Police Station to be debriefed.

Police say that two male teenagers, aged 18 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of abduction and are being held in the custody centre at Charles Cross.

Police Investigating If Woman Was Trying To Save Dog When She Was Hit By Train
British Transport Police investigating the death of a woman have said that she may have been trying to save a dog when she was hit by a train. The 22-year-old woman was struck by a train close to Ainsdale station near Southport, Merseyside at about 15:00 on Wednesday. Transport police said a dog was also found dead at the scene.

Police Stage Reconstruction Of Last Known Movements Of Alice Gross
Police investigating the disappearance of 14-year-old Alice Gross have staged a reconstruction of her last known movements. The teenager was last seen on 28 August walking along the Grand Union Canal in west London. Police said they are hopeful the reconstruction would refresh people's memories of that day and provide them with new information.

Florida Murders Suspect Named
Detectives in the U.S have named the 16-year-old arrested in connection with the murders of two British men in Florida. Shawn Tyson has been charged with two counts of murder. James Kouzaris, 24, from Northampton, and James Cooper, 25, of Warwick were on holiday together.
