Schoolboys Stabbed In London Street Attack
Two young boys have been stabbed in a London street attack, according to the Metropolitan police.
The school boys aged 10 and 12 are recovering after being stabbed in Penrose Street, Walsworth, during what is thought to be an attempted robbery.
Both victims were admitted to hospital to have their injuries treated.
The older boy was later discharged with minor injuries while the 10-year-old was kept in for observation overnight.
Police later arrested a 15-year-old boy in the Walworth area and took him to a south London police station to be questioned.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
In other news, an 18-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed in the stomach near a cinema in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton.
It is understood the attack followed a confrontation between two groups of young men on Sunday night.
Police say the victim, who made his own way to hospital, is in a stable condition.
