Superheroes Take To Roof In Fathers 4 Justice Protest
Two Fathers 4 Justice campaigners have begun a root-top protest at the home of the Equality Minister Harriet Harman.
The pair are reported to be Mark Harris and Jolly Stanesby, who carried out a similar protest at Ms Harman's property in Herne Hill, south London, on June 8 and 9.
It is not clear if Ms Harman is at her home. Last month, the Labour Chair and Minister for Women was forced to leave her home during the protest.
A Metropolitan police spokesperson said officers first received reports of the incident at 6.22am.
Police are currently at the scene and are "in dialogue" with the men.
It is believed the men are dressed as superheroes, one in a Batman costume and the other as Spiderman.
The incident is the latest in a series of high profile stunts by the protest group.
In 2006, protestors threw condoms of purple flour at former Prime Minister Tony Blair as he answered questions in the House of Commons.
The fathers' rights group that has 'A father is for life, not just conception' as it's slogan was set up by Matt O'Connor.
Mr O'Connor, denied access to his children by the family courts said: "The current system of family justice is a grotesque obscenity that is untenable in its current form. We do not recognise the authority of these secret courts.
"Whatever it takes, however long it takes and whatever the sacrifice, we will prevail and achieve the reforms that every child and family in this country desperately deserve and need."
Mr O'Connor has been named GQ Magazine's 7th Top Communicator in the UK and Esquire Magazine's 35th Most Powerful Man In Britain Under 50.
