Youth Charged With Dale Robertson Stabbing

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a teenager in Sheffield.

Dale Robertson, aged 18, was stabbed in the chest following clashes with youths in Rokeby Drive, Parson Cross, Sheffield on Saturday night, during a 16th birthday party.

A South Yorkshire police spokesperson confirmed two 17-year-old males remain in custody, while a 16-year-old male has been released without chrge.

Meanwhile three other males, aged 18, 16 and 15 have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

The 16-year-old youth charged with Dale Robertson's murder is to appear before Sheffield Magistrates later today. He was arrested hours after the attack took place.

Emergency Services were called to Rokeby Drive just after 11pm on Saturday, after reports a man was being assaulted "by a number of people", were made.

Witnesses claim they say the teen staggering in the street, before he collapsed in a pool of blood.

He was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

Missing Sheffield Woman Found In North Wales
South Yorkshire Police have confirmed that a missing Yorkshire woman has been found in north Wales. 48-year-old Michelle Webster, from Sheffield, has been missing since 08 December when her car was found in Colwyn Bay. A dog walker found Ms Webster on Wednesday in Penrhyn Bay, Conwy. She has been taken to hospital.

Sheffield United Urged To Reconsider Evans Decision
Sheffield United have been urged to reconsider its decision to allow convicted rapist Ched Evans to train with the club. Sheffield Central MP Paul Bloomfield said if the club proceeded it would send "a disturbing message to young people and victims of sexual violence".

Convicted Rapist Ched Evans Released From Prison
Convicted rapist and former Sheffield United footballer Ched Evans has left prison after serving two and half years of a five year sentence. Evans, 25, was convicted in April 2012 for the rape of a 19-year-old woman in a hotel in May 2011. According to reports, Evans left Wymott Prison in Lancashire at about 05:30 on Friday morning.

National Summer Games 2017 Announced For Sheffield
The National Summer Games for athletes with learning disabilities is to be held in Sheffield in 2017. Sheffield City Council have said that the games' venues will include the Ponds Forge Centre, Sheffield Hallam University athletics stadium and the English Institute of Sport.
