Three More Arrested Over Army Cadet Murder
Police investigating the murder of a teenage Army cadet have arrested three more people.
Joseph Lappin, 16, from Old Swan, died in hospital on October 20, after he was stabbed in the heart outside a youth club in Everton.
He and two friends had been chased by a crowd of up to 15 people and attacked on the steps of Shrewsbury House Youth Club.
His friend Callum Naden, 17, was also stabbed but is recovering from his injuries.
The two suspects, aged 23 and 22 from Everton, and a 17-year-old from Kirkdale were arrested on suspicion of murder, and attempted murder. They are due to be questioned later today.
Five people were held on suspicion of the murder and attempted murder, however, they were released on bail last week pending further inquiries.

Teenager Guilty Of Plot To Behead Soldier
A 19-year-old man has been found guilty of planning to behead a British soldier, the BBC has reported. Brusthom Ziamani was carrying a 12 inch knife, a hammer and an Islamic flag at the time of his arrested in east London in August 2014. During an investigation it was found that the teenager had researched Army cadet bases.

Army Officer Arrested Over Sandhurst Cadet Attack
An army officer has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a female cadet was found with critical injuries. The 22-year-old female cadet was taken to Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey on Thursday morning with serious head injuries. It is believed she had fallen from the third floor of the military academy in Camberley.

Three sought over Anthony Walker murder
Police investigating the murder of black teenager Anthony Walker have revealed that they are seeking three other people in connection with his death. The 18-year-old A-Level student was found dead in McGoldrick Park in Merseyside on July 29. He had been attacked with an axe.

Six members of a gang have today been sentenced over the death of a 14-year-old schoolboy who died in a park in Hackney. Shaquille Smith was attacked by a 10-strong bicycle gang called the London Field Boys last August as he sat in the park in front of his home in Hackney, east London. The Old Bailey heard the gang had "violence on their minds".
