Appeal To Trace Man Involved In 'Violent' Kidnap
Met Police are attempting to trace a man in connection with a violent kidnap last July.
Police want to speak to Terry Skinner, aged 24, who is also known as Henry James Cooper, after a kidnapped man was rescued by police at a cannabis factory in Edgware.
The kidnap was a violent and premeditated crime where kidnappers requested a large sum of money and seriously injured their victim.
It is believed that Terry Skinner is in the east London area and anyone with information should contact DC Jason Niblett on 0207 230 8933 or alternatively information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The public are advised not to approach Skinner but to contact police on 999 or one of the numbers above if they come across him.
Detective Constable Jason Niblett from the Kidnap and Specialist Investigation Team said: "This kidnap was particularly violent and the victim suffered a terrifying ordeal. I would urge anyone who may have seen Terry Skinner or who has any other information to contact us."

Three Jailed After Violent Kidnap Of Man
Three men have been jailed for a total of 29 years after violently kidnapping a 21-year-old man and holding him hostage for four days. The trio, from south east London, were sentenced at Croydon Crown Court. Deji Adegunle, 22, was given 13 years for conspiracy to commit kidnap, false imprisonment, and blackmail.

Boy killed in hotel electrocution
A British boy has died after being electrocuted in a hotel room in Thailand. Seven-year-old Connor O'Keefe is believed to have died after plugging in his Game Boy in a room at the Sunset Beach Resort in Phuket on Saturday. He was found by his parents, David Skinner, 49, and Kathleen Curry, 45.

Man Jailed Over False Kidnap Claim
A man who claimed to have been kidnapped and demanded a ransom from his partner to secure his release has been jailed. Police were contacted by the distressed partner of Paresh Savji Devraj, who reported that he had been kidnapped and that he would be beaten and killed if she didn't pay £1,000.

A 53-year-old man has been jailed for seven years for the kidnap and assault of his former partner in 2010. In July 2010, Ali Kolliari entered the home of his former partner and began beating her. She was then dragged from the house and forced into Kolliari's car. The victim was driven around and assaulted for a number of hours.

Man Guilty Of Soldier Kidnap Plot
A fifth man has been convicted in connection with a plot to kidnap and behead a British soldier. Zahoor Iqbal, 30, from Birmingham, was found guilty at Leicester Crown Court on Friday of being involved in Parviz Khan's organisation as supplying equipment to terrorists in Pakistan. He has been remanded in custody to await sentencing.
