S Club Star Stevens Robbed
Popstar Rachel Stevens has been left "shaken" after a door-step ambush by three men demanding her jewellery.
The robbers followed the Strictly Come Dancing runner-up to her Regents Park home, in north London, yesterday afternoon.
They are believed to have made off with her engagement ring, a necklace and a watch.
A spokesman for the 31-year-old former S Club singer released a short statement, which read: "Rachel did experience an intrusion and is shaken, but otherwise ok."
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "It's believed the woman returned to her flat and was followed in to the premises by three males.
"The suspects are understood to have threatened her before making off with a quantity of jewellery."

Pensioner dies following mugging
West Midlands Police have appealed for information following the death of a pensioner who was mugged in Walsall on Tuesday night. Sobat Ali, 67, is believed to have been involved in an altercation with up to three men in Hart Street, Caldmore around 6:30pm on Tuesday evening, after purchasing some jewellery.

An elderly woman suffered a broken nose when she was thrown to the floor by robbers as she walked home from the shops. The 78-year-old woman was recovering in hospital today after the ordeal in a busy Solihull street yesterday morning.

UK Property Prices 'Still Falling'
House prices in the three months to October were 1.2% lower than in the preceding three months, according to the Halifax. The financial services provider, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, said prices in October were 2.3% lower than at the end of 2009 on a seasonally adjusted basis (-1.2% unadjusted).

Manufacturing output shows slight upward trend
Figures published today by the Office of National Statistics have shown that between March and April this year manufacturing output rose by 0.9%. Shipman ‘stolen jewellery’ investigation closes
An investigation into jewellery found at the home of serial killer Harold Shipman has concluded, with one ring being returned to the family of one of his victims. The ring was one of a number of items of jewellery seized by Greater Manchester Police during a search of the former GP’s home.
