Asda Food Licker Probed
Police are to investigate an allegation that a former supermarket worker licked a raw chicken before putting it back on the shelf. The staff member at Fulwood in Preston, Lancashire, is also alleged to have urinated in a bin and played cricket and football with items on sale. The antics were filmed by a co-worker on night shifts at the store. The man has since left the company. A spokesman for Asda said it was "disgusted and appalled".
