Having read Mike Gizzard`s (Readers Letters) Mike asks readers of UA Journal for any helpful ideas. I have to say that my stoma Nurse Helen Coulter at Respond based at Larne who has just received her Diploma "British Citizen Award" would have dealt with such problems head on. Her level of experience would have ensured that she would have foreseen such a problem even before it became an item of discussion in the journal. Well done

My Respond Nurse impressed me with her all round training and it was called for when I suffered many complications following surgery (removal of bladder) it is a true example of great nursing care from Nurse Helen Coulter that things have settled and I cannot ever thank my Respond team for all the care I have received and am receiving.
