A 'Spoton' performance at PANI awards
Local production company Spoton Film+TV have been recognised at the recent Publicity Association of Northern Ireland (PANI) awards ceremony in the Culloden Hotel, Belfast.
The local commercials production company were responsible for producing five of the 19 shorts that received awards in the various television categories. The company produced a sixth short in an Integrated Marketing Campaign category.
The highlights were a Gold and Silver for Forestside Shopping Centre, entered by Ardmore Advertising in the TV Series and Under £20K categories, a Silver for the Local Enterprise Development Agency (Ledu), entered by Genesis Advertising in the £20-£60K category and a Bronze award for the Belfast Telegraph TV Series.
Producer/Director of Spoton, Micky O'Neill, said he was delighted with the awards and added: "It's good to see that local creativity is right up there with the national and international entries from the UK and the Republic of Ireland. However, I was particularly pleased with the judging chairman's comments on the high level of production values from the local producers."
