Homecoming Gig For Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol have announced a homecoming gig in Co Down, next year.

With the band set to finish their UK & Ireland Tour in Belfast on Wednesday, Snow Patrol have announced that will return to Northern Ireland on June 5th 2010 to play a second show at the now legendary Ward Park venue in Bangor.

Singer Gary Lightbody and drummer Jonny Quinn both hail from the seaside town.

Set to take place at the same location as the 2007 gig, with an even larger capacity and a line-up of bands that promise to make it a major player in the Summer festival circuit, the show is currently the only confirmed tour date for next year.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday at 9am but members of the website, Snow Patrol.com can access the pre-sale this Thursday at 9am via the websites members area.
