Homecoming Gig For Snow Patrol
Snow Patrol have announced a homecoming gig in Co Down, next year.
With the band set to finish their UK & Ireland Tour in Belfast on Wednesday, Snow Patrol have announced that will return to Northern Ireland on June 5th 2010 to play a second show at the now legendary Ward Park venue in Bangor.
Singer Gary Lightbody and drummer Jonny Quinn both hail from the seaside town.
Set to take place at the same location as the 2007 gig, with an even larger capacity and a line-up of bands that promise to make it a major player in the Summer festival circuit, the show is currently the only confirmed tour date for next year.
Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday at 9am but members of the website, Snow Patrol.com can access the pre-sale this Thursday at 9am via the websites members area.

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland
Work has begun at several hospital sites across Northern Ireland as part of the preparations for the introduction of free car parking in May 2026. Health and Social Care Trusts have been actively preparing for the implementation of a new traffic management system since the Hospital Parking Charges Act was passed in 2022.

Man Extradited From Ireland To Face Serious Charges
A 33-year-old man has been extradited from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland to face serious charges. The man is accused of assault causing harm, coercive control, contravention of a safety order, theft, and possession of a weapon. The alleged offences occurred in the Monaghan area between 2020 and 2021.
