Stylish NI Put To The Vote
The glitz and glamour of all that's best on NI's style scene will be known shortly as the finalists of the Magners Light Style Awards have been revealed.
In association with Ulster Tatler, voting has been completed with the announcement of winners made at the invitation-only finale on Thursday 4th February, in Café Vaudeville, Belfast (pictured).
'Stylish', meaning 'having confident good taste and appreciation of what is fashionable' or 'having or showing impressive skill or accomplishment' will see 12 categories up for voting, spanning top people as well as restaurant, shopping and other leisure venues.
Judges include Lara Salmon, Woman's Editor, Ulster Tatler; Tracey Hall, Director of Style Academy Model Agency; Pete Snodden, DJ; Michael Quinn, celebrity hair stylist; award-winning photographer Ciaran O'Neill, and James Simpson, Magners Marketing Manager.
The Most Stylist Female will be picked from the trio of Catherine Dunne; Julie Weatherup and Orlagh Maye, while the Most Stylist Couple will be selected from Jenna McCorkell & Kevin Van der Perren; Jenny Curran & Kyle Anderson and Judith Wilson & Gareth Grey.
NI's 'Top Man' will be one of three contenders, John Meighan; Martin John and Ross Lauder.
Apart from several other 'people' categories there are awards for bars and clubs with - for example - the Most Stylist Restaurant being selected from a shortlist of Bar Ten, Omagh; Judes, Belfast or The Bar, Fitzwilliam Hotel, Belfast.
