Dublin Shooting Victim Dies
A 21-year-old man has been died after being shot in Dublin during the early hours of this morning, Gardaí have revealed.
Officers in Blanchardstown are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting, which occurred at a house in Fortlawn Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 at approximately 4am this morning.
During the incident the 21-year-old man received fatal injuries from a shotgun wound. Gardaí believe the shotgun used was legally held and are investigating the possibility that the shooting was accidental.
His body remains at the scene, pending a Garda technical examination and the arrival of the State Pathologist.
Two men, aged 18 and 23 years, have been arrested in connection with this incident and are currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under the Offences Against the State Act.
It is currently understood that the shooting was not gang related.

PSNI Appeal For Information About West Belfast Shooting
The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.

Security Alert Reported In L'Derry
The PSNI is currently investigating reports that an explosive device has been left in the Currynierin area of County L'Derry. Police are understood to be making enquiries and have asked residents in the area to remain vigilant. Any suspicious activity or objects should be notified to the PSNI. There are no further details at present.

Guns and drugs seized following fatal shooting
A substantial amount of drugs and firearms have been seized by gardaí during follow up searches relating to a fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man in Dublin during the weekend. Kevin Ledwidge was shot in the chest at his home on Ratoath Drive in Finglas on Friday morning. He answered a call to his family home and was shot dead.
