Two Shot Dead At Dublin Petrol Station
Two men have been shot dead in the Finglas area of Dublin last night.
Gardaí in Dublin said the attack outside a Tesco petrol station on the Finglas Road happened shortly 11.30pm yesterday.
The bodies of the two men remain at the scene and a garda investigation is underway.
Early reports suggest the men had driven into the filling station just before the attack. Gardai said the two victims were killed on the forecourt while walking to the shop by shots fired from another car that had pulled up. The vehicle then sped away.
It is not yet clear how many gunmen were involved in the attack.
It is understood the Tesco supermarket was open at the time and staff were working inside.
The dead men were believed to be in their early 20s and gardai said the state pathologist has been contacted.
The scene has been sealed off, and a forensic examination is due to take place later today. The dead men were believed to be in their early 20s.
Gardaí have not yet confirmed whether the shooting is related to gangland activity in the area, but the scene of the incident is not far from where Daniel Gaynor was shot dead during a gang related gun attack in August.
One man has been charged over Mr Gaynor's killing.
A local Sinn Fein councillor Dessie said more people could have been killed and described the incident as a "terrible tragedy".

Man Shot Dead In West Belfast
Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in west Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Glenwood Court, Poleglass, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, 20 October. He has been named locally as Joe Reilly, aged 43.

Seven men arrested in connection with the rape and murder of Lorraine McCausland have been released. Ms McCausland, 23, was discovered dead beside a stream in the Forthriver area of north Belfast on 08 March, 1987. A file will be submitted to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Post-Mortems Confirm Men Were Shot Dead
Port-mortem examinations have been carried out on the two men found dead at a farm in Glenarm. The examinations took place over the weekend and the results confirmed they were shot. The bodies of 61-year-old Arthur Gibson, and 37-year-old Michael Murphy were discovered on a farm on the Feystown Road on Friday afternoon.
