Man Shot Dead In West Belfast
Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in west Belfast.
The attack happened at a house in Glenwood Court, Poleglass, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, 20 October.
He has been named locally as Joe Reilly, aged 43.
Sinn Féin MLA Jennifer McCann said: "This brutal killing has achieved nothing other than plunging another family into grief and despair.
"I have expressed my condolences to the victim's family and I appeal to anyone with information to bring it forward to the police."
First Minister Arlene Foster and deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness said: "We unreservedly condemn the murder of a man shot dead in his home in Poleglass last night.
"This savage killing is senseless and has achieved nothing. The perpetrators care only for themselves.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the man's family at this time and we urge anyone with any information to bring it to the PSNI immediately.”

Man Shot Dead In Ballymoney
A man in his 40s has been shot dead in Ballymoney, Co Antrim. The incident happened outside a house at Riverview Park at around 10.30pm on Monday (5 January). He has since been named as Brian McIlhagga. He was 42. He had been beaten by an armed gang and shot once in the leg. The father-of-five, originally from Ballymena, died from his injuries.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
