Balmoral Show 'On The Move'

Peter Robinson, the incoming First Minister, has said he believes it is a good idea to move the Balmoral Show from the King's Hall in Belfast to the former Maze site outside Lisburn. Speaking as he made a tour of the 2011 show on its first opening day on Wednesday he said he backs moves by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) to move away from Belfast. The RUAS said that negotiations between the society and the First and Deputy Ministers' office are at an advanced stage. "I think it's a good idea, they would be a good active tenant to have at the Maze site," said the DUP Leader.
