Tinie Tempah & Tiësto For Belsonic
An award-winning urban superstar Tinie Tempah and renowned DJ/producer Tiësto have been confirmed as the final two headline acts at this year's Belsonic in association with Absolut Vodka festival.
Tinie Tempah will headline Belsonic on August 22, with support from Irish singer and rapper Maverick Sabre and Yasmin.
DJ Tiësto will headline the festival on August 26, joined by breakbeat producer Alex Metric, dubstep producer Caspa and MC Rod Azlan.
Tinie Tempah shot to fame with the release of his multi-platinum selling debut album Disc-Overy and recently became the first British rapper in history to sell a million singles in the US, with Written In The Stars.
Recently voted The Greatest DJ Of All Time in a Mixmag poll, Dutch DJ Tiësto recently completed his Kaleidoscope World Tour, encompassing a full audio visual experience, which spanned more than 15 months and 175 dates across six continents, playing to over 1,000,000 people. He will debut his new audio/visual show at Belsonic.
Belsonic 2011 at Custom House Square will kick off on August 16 with Jared Leto's band 30 Seconds To Mars as headliners.
Rapper Dizzee Rascal will take to the stage on August 17, joined by fellow rapper Example and grime MC and rapper Wretch 32.
Glaswegian rockers Primal Scream take to the Belsonic stage on August 19, where they will perform their seminal Screamadelica album in its entirety to celebrate the album's twentieth anniversary, joined by producer Andrew Weatherall.
Former Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher's new outfit Beady Eye will headline Belsonic on August 20, joined by London indie band The Vaccines and Dublin electro-rockers Fight Like Apes.
Alternative rockers Elbow take to the Belsonic stage on August 24, while award-winning singer/songwriter Plan B will headline the event on August 25, joined by urban singer Katy B and 'indie-hoppers' Rizzle Kicks.
Legendary ska band The Specials will round off this year's Belsonic on August 27.
Ticket prices start at £29 and are available from: www.belsonic.com, www.ticketmaster.ie, the Stiff Kitten and usual Ticketmaster outlets.

Northern Ireland supporters are to welcome the team back home after they were defeated by Wales in Euro 2016. The team reached the last 16 but lost 1-0 to Wales in Paris on Saturday, 25 June. An own goal from Gareth McAuley secured Wales a place in the final eight.
