McAreavey Murder Accused In Court
Two men accused of the murder of Michaela McAreavey, 27, are expected to appear in court in Mauritius later today.
Mrs McAreavey, the daughter of Tyrone Gaelic Football Manager Mickey Harte, was found strangled in her hotel room while on her honeymoon in Mauritius in January.
During a three-day pre-trial hearing, two of the hotel workers will appear where it will be decided if they should be tried for murder.
If this is the case, the Director of Public Prosecution may call upon Michaela's husband John to give evidence.
Thousands attended Michaela's funeral at St Malachy's in Ballymacilroy, County Tyrone, the church where she married John McAreavey. The couple had been married just 12 days before she was murdered.
