Blackstaff secure new contract and Dublin partnership

Local publisher Blackstaff Press, part of the W&G Group, has celebrated 30 years in business this year by securing a new contract and strategic alliance.

As one of Ireland’s leading publishers, the company has secured a contract with UTV to publish the ‘Jenny Bristow Cooks’ title, the official book to accompany the forthcoming television series of three cookery books Blackstaff has been commissioned by UTV to produce.

In addition, the company has appointed renowned Dublin publisher O’Brien Press to handle its sales operation throughout Ireland. The partnership aims to increase the presence of Blackstaff’s range of titles in its home market by broadening the company’s customer base and enhancing sales.

The company plans to celebrate this year’s anniversary with a number of events including an exhibition of memorabilia in Belfast’s Central Library. (MB)
