Doors open at the Ideal Home Exhibition
Doors opened on Friday at the King’s Hall in Belfast for Northern Ireland’s premier home-related event - The Belfast Telegraph Ideal Home Exhibition 2001.
Hundreds of companies from across Northern Ireland are attending this year’s show, exhibiting an assortment of new and exciting ideas.
The opening day saw Jan de Vries offer advice and tips on health queries, while daily themed events provided live demonstrations and advice sessions for all the family, on DIY, interior design, healthy living, fashion, and beauty among other things.
The very latest in creativity and innovation from the best designers are also on display, including a series of celebrity rooms designed by the province’s top design students for six local UTV celebrities.
This year’s visitors can also experience not one, but two very different show homes. From the ultra-modern contemporary show apartment by Dekko and designed by local interior designer, Maureen Collins, to the BT Digital Home by Kim Lindsay of Lambrequin Interior Design. (MB)
