Support For NI Apprenticeships Welcomed
The Stormont Employment and Learning Minister, Dr Stephen Farry, has welcomed Schrader Electronics' ongoing support for Apprenticeships, at an Apprentice Team Building Event.
The Minister visited 11 apprentices and their line managers taking part in a team building event to improve personal effectiveness skills at the Belfast Activity Centre.
Acknowledging the importance of apprenticeships to the economy, the Minister said: "Apprenticeships have a key role to play by developing individual skills and strengthening the regional economy.
"There is no doubt that apprenticeships at all levels provide an excellent return on investment for individuals, employers and the economy.
"Investment in training by employers such as Schrader Electronics is vital to improve the skills levels of our workforce and support local economic growth. I welcome the commitment shown today from both Schrader Electronics and its apprentices to the ApprenticeshipNI training model.
