Insurance call centre expansion set to create 100 jobs
An insurance company announced on Thursday August 9 that it is to employ another 100 staff at its call centre in west Belfast.
Insurance Advisory Service (IAS) confirmed the expansion of its customer contact centre as it marked its first year at Springvale Business Park in West Belfast.
The company, which already employs 227 people at Springvale, hopes to have the 100 new IDB-backed workers in place by the end of the year.
David Holden, managing director of IAS, said: “We’ve been thoroughly impressed by the quality of staff already recruited. Many have taken advantage of the excellent promotion opportunities to progress to management positions resulting from the expansion that has taken place during the past year.
“The support which we have received from the community, together with the encouragement from the Industrial Development Board, has resulted in the business moving faster than originally projected”.
