Northern Bank To Close Four Branches

Northern Bank has confirmed that it will close four branches in the coming months.

Earlier the bank had announced that it would close Northern Bank branches in Portrush and Portstewart: it has now said that it will also be closing branches in Donaghadee and Ballyholme.

It is understood that all four branches will be closed some time in March and a spokesperson for the branch has said that more closures are likely.

Northern Bank currently employs more than 1,200 people in Northern Ireland with a further 300 people employed in other services for the bank. When the four branches close the bank will have 76 branches remaining in Northern Ireland.
