Police Make £60,000 Cannabis Discovery
Cannabis resin with the street value of £60,000 has been seized from a house in Poleglass.
Lisburn Police arrested a 37-year-old man following the drugs haul in the Glenbank Court area yesterday.
Detective Chief Inspector Colin Gillis from Lisburn Police said the discovery showed "further evidence of our continued efforts working with the community to deal with the threat posed by drugs criminality".

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Appeal Issued For Missing Lisburn Man Thomas McKeown
The PSNI in Lisburn have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Thomas McKeown. The 52-year-old was last seen at around 11.12am in the centre of Lisburn on Tuesday 11 June. Police said that Thomas is a "vulnerable adult" and they are keen to trace his current whereabouts.

The police officer who was left severely injured when an attacker beat her about the head with an iron bar has regained consciousness. The 54-year-old female officer was attacked by the man in the early hours of Monday morning whilst on duty inside Lisburn Police Station.

A 53-year-old man has been arrested after around £200,000 worth of cannabis was found during searches at a house in Lisburn. The suspect has been detained on a number of drugs offences. Police said the searches like this one "demonstrate our ongoing commitment to tackling the scourge of drugs in our society".

Two men have been charged in connection with a suspected drugs find in Belfast. Police seized cocaine and herbal cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £160,000, after stopping a car in the Duncrue Street area on Wednesday night, 08 February.
