TEXTFLOW SECURES £1.5M WORTH OF CONTRACTS

BELFAST-BASED digital print and e-solutions company, Textflow, have won several new contracts worth over £1.5 million in both the public and private sectors as well as a £500,000 investment in new digital printing equipment.

The new contracts are set to enable Textflow to reposition itself and develop its potential in what is recognised as an expanding niche market. In addition, the company is also celebrating new ownership, having been bought from the W&G Baird Group by its former managing director, Nigel Ewing.

Commenting on his future plans for Textflow, Mr Ewing said: “Having seen the company grow and develop from the start, I’m delighted for this opportunity to assume overall responsibility and am very much looking forward to maintaining our lead in the digital print and e-solutions market.

“I have learned a great deal under Baird’s ownership and now feel fully equipped and ideally positioned to meet the challenges which the IT age has presented to the printing industry.”

Roy Bailie, Chairman, W&G Baird Group, added: “Nigel’s acquisition of Textflow is yet another example of his entrepreneurial skills and his track record proves that he is more than up to the task of developing the company’s full potential. I have no doubt that under his leadership, the company will continue to flourish and successfully compete in the expanding digital arena.” (CL)
