Excellence In Dentistry Pays Off For Cranmore

A Northern Irish dental practice has brushed aside all-Ireland competition to win major recognition in the Irish Dentistry Awards.

Cranmore Dental at Windsor Avenue in Belfast swept the boards at the Mansion House gala evening to win Best New Practice, Best Specialist Practice, Practice of the Year Northern Ireland and Overall Practice of the Year (Ireland) 2012.

The accolades follow a major programme of investment in skills, facilities and technology at the organisation's practice in Belfast and started 2012 in upbeat style, building on a catalogue of Awards already clinched in the latter part of 2011. Those Awards included Winner of the Best New Practice UK, Winner of the Practice of the Year Northern Ireland and Overall Winner of the UK Practice of the Year at the prestigious Private Dentistry Awards, which took place at Park Lane, London.

The dazzling array of awards has put a smile on the face of Clinical Director, Dr David Nelson and his team. He says: "We are naturally delighted to gain recognition from some of the most respected organisations in Ireland and the UK. Their plaudits are testimony not only to the skills of our team, but also to what we believe is our unique approach to dental care, ultimately combining the best practices in clinical techniques and technology with bespoke patient care."

Dr Nelson who dedicates his area of practice to dental implants added: "Ours is, arguably, one of the most difficult sectors around for there are very few people who relish a trip to the dentist! However, people are committed to maintaining good oral health and we are building our practice by offering patients excellence and the very highest levels of professionalism."

Cranmore which has a practice at Brunswick Road in Bangor, opened its new boutique practice in Belfast in January last year, has also become the first practice in Northern Ireland to be accepted as a member of the Leading Dental Centers of the World. It is one of only six practices in the UK to be members of this prestigious organisation which holds excellence in dentistry as its cornerstone.
