THE EAGLES ARE COMING TO TOWN
THE Eagles are set to play to the largest crowd ever seen at Stormont on 29th June.
The world’s most successful recording act landed in Belfast on Friday morning in time for a sound check before preparing themselves to play in front of a 20,000 strong crowd in what has been hailed as one of the world’s most beautiful concert venues.
The promoter of the concert, Jim Aiken, said: “Obviously we are catering for large numbers this year, production is more intensive than it has been for any of the other concert events staged at this venue to date. At the moment we have a staff of 200 people on site, measuring that the tiered seating and the staging is put in place in time.”
The Eagles are set to play a three hour long show as part of their ‘A Lifetime of Hits in One Night’ tour, with the concert kicking off at 7.30pm.

Snow Patrol to play homecoming gig
County Down chart toppers Snow Patrol have announced they are to play a homecoming gig at the historic Ward Park in Bangor on September 1. The band's current release ‘Signal Fire’, is the lead single on the soundtrack of 'Spiderman 3', and they have also received a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song for the worldwide smash hit ‘Chasing Cars’.
