Three Men Arrested Over Dissident Terrorist Activity

Three men have been arrested in Lurgan over dissident terrorist activity.

The men are aged 47, 42 and 41.

Police are conducting searches on three houses in the area and a number of items have been taken for forensic examination.

Meanwhile a 45-year-old man was arrested in Cookstown on Saturday for dissident terrorist activity, but has been released unconditionally.

Man Arrested Over Dissident Activity Released Unconditionally
A man who was arrested in L'Derry by police investigating violent dissident terrorist criminality has been released. The 20-year-old was arrested on Tuesday. He was taken to Antrim police station for questioning. The man was released unconditionally on Tuesday evening.

West Belfast Man Jailed For Possession Of Firearms & Explosives
Police have welcomed the sentencing of a man from west Belfast for possession of firearms, ammunition and explosives in suspicious circumstances. 36-year-old Kevin McLaughlin was handed a five and a half year custodial sentence earlier today, Friday 08 March, at Belfast Crown Court.
