Three Dead After Weekend Car Crashes
Weekend car crashes in Counties Fermanagh and Down have claimed three lives.
A two-car collision happened at an accident black spot near Kesh on Sunday afternoon and two people have died.
Both were travelling in the same car - Ryan Maguire, 22, was driving and Rodney Wilson, 29, was one of two passengers.
Mr Wilson had celebrated his 29th birthday on Saturday.
The veterinarian died in hospital last night, more than 24 hours after the accident.
Six people were hurt in the crash, among them two small children who have since been discharged from hospital.
Ardess crossroads remained cordoned off and closed to traffic until late on Sunday night as police carried out investigations.
The area is "known for accidents", a local councillor said.
Raymond Farrell said: "It is a terrible tragedy and my sympathy is with those involved. There have been a number of accidents on that road in recent years. It has been known for accidents and some of a fatal nature."
In a separate crash in Hillsborough on Saturday, a 41-year-old man was killed.
He was named by police as Robert Hanna.
Mr Hanna was driving a white Subaru Imprezza, which collided with another car on the Edentrillick Hill Road on Saturday at about 5.30pm.
Three other people were injured but their condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about either information to contact them.
