Are You Ready For The Digital Switchover?
Northern Ireland's TV transmitters will all switch to digital in October.
The switchover is scheduled for October 10 and 24, so to make sure nobody is caught out and left with fuzzy analogue screens, a Donaghadee-based digital company has offered its services.
AMG Digital Ltd, a company with more than 19 years experience in satellites and aerials, said its vans and engineers can tune your TV to take the hassle out.
A company spokesman said: "With a digital aerial you can enjoy the five main UK channels and much more. The number of channels you receive depends on where you live and the kind of aerial and TV equipment you have. Most households should receive 15 channels or up to 80 channels with a good digital aerial and digital TV or freeview box. The UK and Ireland Goverment have also confirmed that TG4 will be made available on Freeview to much of Northern Ireland, and will also facilitate the provision of RTE1 and RTE2. Our vans are fully equipped with all the latest equipment capable of measuring both digital and analogue signal levels. We are capable of carrying out a wide range of services from tuning your TV to a full system installation."
AMG Digital Ltd is a member of the CAI (Confederation of Aerial Industries) and offers a three-year guarantee with all materials and workmanship.
It services Belfast, Lisburn, Antrim, Bangor, Newtownards and surrounding areas.
