Milk It! Say Extreme Sports Group
A Belfast-wide extreme sports tour kicked off today with BMXing, skate-boarding, breakdancing and hip hop demonstrations and workshops in parks.
It's all in the name of milking it – that is, organisers want to inspire young people to drink more milk.
It is the latest stage of the 'Milk in Action' campaign run by the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland and the EU.
Dr. Mike Johnston, Chief Executive of the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland, said: "We want to show young people that milk is now increasingly recognised as an effective natural sports drink providing hydration as well as essential nutrients that can help with an active lifestyle."
Captain Matt G from RampRage said: "We are geared up and can't wait to get on the road. The RampRage crew has learned lots about the nutritional content and benefits of drinking the white stuff and on tour, we will need plenty of energy to keep us in top form."
The 'Milk it for all its worth' park tour will take place throughout July in the following parks:
Monday July 9: Grove Playing Fields, North Belfast
Tuesday July 24: Tommy Patton Park, East Belfast
Friday July 27: Ormeau Park, South Belfast
Sunday July 29: Waterworks North Belfast
Monday July 30: Falls Park West Belfast
Anyone who attends can get in free to the T13 Urban Expose on August 4, which will bring Ireland's leading athletes and artists to perform and provide expert tuition.

Stormont Allocated £31.4m For No-Deal Prep
Northern Ireland's Department of Finance received £31.4 million from the UK Government in August to facilitate plans for a no-deal Brexit, it's been revealed. A total of £2.1 billion was allocated by the Treasury for such preparations across the UK.
