Man injured in paramilitary-style attack
Police have launched an investigation after a man was shot and injured in a paramilitary-style attack in Co Down.
The man was also beaten around the head during the attack which happened on the Model Farm housing estate at around 9pm on Wednesday night.
The man was taken to Down Hospital where he was treated for bullet wounds to his ankles.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Man Injured In Paramilitary-Style Attack
A man has been injured in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast. The assault happened in the Norglen Parade area just after 9pm on sunday, 17 September. The victim, aged is his 30s, was shot in the hands and legs and is currently being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A man has been shot in the ankle in Co L'Derry. The paramilitary-style attack happened near the Creggan shops at around 7.45pm on Thursday, 07 December. The 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police described the shooting as "brutal and horrific".
