Man Injured In Paramilitary-Style Attack In East Belfast

A man in his 20's has been injured after being attacked by four men with baseball bats in east Belfast.

The assault happened at a property in the Strone Park area of Dundonald at around 10pm on Monday, 27 November.

The victim was taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Before fleeing the property, the gang smashed a number of windows and daubed graffiti on a wall.

Police described it as a "brutal, paramilitary-style" attack.

The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Residential property prices in Northern Ireland increased for first time since 2007, according to a new report. The Northern Ireland Residential Property Price Index report for the second quarter of 2013 showed that between quarter one and quarter two, residential property prices increased by 2%.

PSNI Appeal For Information After Cars Set Alight In North Belfast
The PSNI have appealed for information after four cars were set alight in north Belfast. Police say the suspected arson attack happened at around 22:30 on Tuesday night on the Whitewell Road. It is understood no one was injured in the incidents.

Man Injured In Punishment-Style Attack In East Belfast
A man is receiving hospital treatment following a punishment-style attack in east Belfast. The assault happened near the Comber Greenway at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, 12 June. A gang of men with hammers, bats and knuckledusters were involved, according to the PSNI. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
