Silver Fiesta Information Appeal In Father-Of-Three's Violent Death
A man whose body was found at his Cregagh Road home on Friday evening was murdered in a vicious assault, police have said.
The PSNI said police were following a "positive line of enquiry" into the death of George Gray, a 52-year-old father-of-three.
But Detective Inspector Chris Wilson said police still needed assistance from the public.
Mr Gray was last seen on Thursday at 9pm.
Two men aged 29 and 34 have been arrested and are being questioned.
Det Insp Wilson said: "George - known locally as Geordie - was a very quiet man who kept himself to himself, enjoyed his football and didn't go out a lot, just stayed in his flat.
"This has been a very untimely death and I would appeal for members of the public to come forward and assist me bringing those responsible to justice."
Police want to hear from anyone who may know about a silver Fiesta parked outside the victim's address in the Greenaway area of Cregagh Road, from which a backseat passenger was seen to get out.
