Man charged with hit-and-run death
A 19-year-old teenager has been charged with causing the death of a man in north Belfast on Friday night.
Malachy Delaney, unemployed, of Westrock Drive, Belfast, was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident, and stealing a car following the death of 24-year-old Rossa Quigley after he was hit by a stolen car on the Cliftonville Road. Mr Quigley was crossing the road to go to his girlfriend's flat when he was struck.
Four other people have also been charged with allowing themselves to driven in a stolen vehicle in connection with the incident.
Sean Mulligan, 27; Paul Mulligan, 17; John Moran, 25; and Malachy Goodman, 19, made no reply when charged.
All five were remanded in custody and will appear before the court by video link on April 14.

Two teenagers have been charged after a stolen car they were driving reversed into a police car. The car, which is believed to have been taken from the Kent Street area of Belfast, was seen being driven erratically on the Whitecliff Parade on Tuesday evening. The vehicle was spotted around an hour later by police on the Falls Road.

Life sentence for man who murdered uncle
A man has been sentenced to life in jail for stabbing his uncle to death despite allegations that he had been the victim of sexual abuse in the past. Thomas Ian McQuade, 32 told Belfast Crown Court that he murdered 59-year-old Joseph McQuade at his home in Comber as an act of revenge because he had been sexually abused by his uncle.

Ammunition Found During West Belfast Security Alert
A quantity of ammunition has been found during a security alert in west Belfast. Suspected stolen artwork was also discovered at a property in the St Mary's Gardens area on Thursday, 14 September. Detectives from Musgrave Criminal Investigation Branch have launched an investigation. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
