Operation Dulcet: Man Arrested
A man has been arrested in Newtownabbey as part of the PSNI's Operation Dulcet, which was set up to investigate illegal protests and violence in the wake of the union flag protests.
He is reported to be assisting police at Antrim Serious Crime Suite.
Loyalists have been protesting since 3 December last year, when Belfast Councillor voted to restrict the number of days the union flag can fly above Belfast City Hall.
G8 Resort Up For Sale
The Lough Erne hotel and golf resort which is playing host to this year's G8 summit has gone back on the market at £10m.
The luxury resort in the Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, went into administration in May 2011.
Under administrators, the resort has been running for the past two years.
No buyer has been found.
Man Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
A man has been convicted at Downpatrick Magistrates' court for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
James Kirk (43) of Glenlough, Ballynahinch, claimed Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £3,990 while failing to declare employment. He was fined £360 and ordered to pay court costs of £37.
He will also have to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
Fermanagh Man Fined Over Illegal Dwelling
A man from Lisbellaw, County Fermanagh, has been fined £25,000 at Enniskillen Magistrates' Court for the illegal erection of a dwelling at Derryclavan, Lisbellaw.
Mr Orr was also ordered to pay £600 in legal costs and £26.00 court costs.
This is the third fine for Mr Orr with regards to this offence.
On 6 June 2012 he was fined £20,000 with court and legal costs of £88.00 and on 14 September 2011 he was fined £3,000 with court and legal costs of £85.00.

Street Drinkers Pay The Cost
Five people have been fined at Belfast Magistrates Court for drinking alcohol in public. Tyrone McCann, from Richmond Avenue in Newtownabbey, was fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £66 after he was detected drinking alcohol at Suffolk Road in west Belfast on January 16.

£22,096 Benefit Fraudsters Convicted
Three benefit fraudsters have been convicted of claiming a total of £22,096 they were not entitled to. All three will have to repay the sums to the Social Security Agency. The biggest sum claimed was by a County Down man.

A man from Newry, County Down, has been fined £30,000 at Newry Magistrates' Court for non-compliance with a Department of the Environment Planning Enforcement Notice. Mr Francis McGuiness of Newtown Road, Cloughoge, Newry was found guilty and must also pay £805 in legal costs and £15 court costs.
