Cloughbane Farm Foods To Supply Pasta Dishes To ASDA
Pomeroy-based Cloughbane Farm Foods has secured a contract to supply its new range of pasta dishes, developed with an Invest Northern Ireland Innovation Voucher, to ASDA.
The family business has grown steadily over the past 10 years and supplies several of its products, including its award winning meat pies, to retailers across Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
The deal with ASDA was announced by Lorna Robinson, Managing Director of Cloughbane Farm Foods and welcomed by Olive Hill, Invest NI’s Director of Innovation and Technology Solutions.
Mrs Robinson said: "We used an Invest NI Innovation Voucher to work with experts at the Loughry Campus of the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise to develop a new range of pasta dishes and we have now expanded our existing portfolio of convenience products.
"As a market-led business, we are keen to respond as quickly as possible to new opportunities for the company and to strengthen our reputation as a producer of wholesome, artisan products. The Innovation Voucher has been immensely beneficial, enabling us to access the expertise and knowledge at Loughry and bring new products to market quickly."
