Police Investigate Second West Belfast Shooting
Police are currently investigating the second shooting incident in west Belfast in one day.
A man was shot once in the right leg at Turf Lodge, west Belfast at about 20:10 on Thursday evening.
It is understood the 38-year-old was shot in an alleyway in the Ardmonagh Gardens area.
He is currently being treated in hospital.
Police are describing the gun attack as a paramilitary style shooting.
The incident follows another shooting on Thursday morning, in which a man escaped injury after being shot in this home in Avoca Close.
Two men entered his property at about 09:30. One man shot at the victim with a shotgun, but missed.
The two men then made off in the direction of the Upper Springfield Road.

PSNI Appeal For Information About West Belfast Shooting
The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.

Two Men Shot At Wedding
An investigation is underway after two men were injured in a shooting at a wedding in Newtownbutler, Co Fermanagh. According to reports, the shooting happened at about 13:00 on Wednesday in the grounds of St Mary's Catholic church. Two men are being treated for their injuries at Enniskillen's South West Acute hospital.

Police in west Belfast have reissued their appeal for information in relation to the shooting of a teenager last weekend. The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning, when 18-year-old Conor Welding was approached by two men and shot in the Ard Na Va area of the Falls Road in west Belfast.

Police Appeal After Shots Fired At House In West Belfast
Shots have been fired at a property in west Belfast. The shooting occurred at a house in Norglen Drive in the early hours of Friday morning. Two men, who were in the house at the time of the incident, were not injured. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
